Matiss Karro hit the world championship motocross racing scene like a whirlwind in 2007. He qualified for his first GP at 15 years of age, and made his mark as a rider to watch.
In 2008, he continued with his good form. The Latvian teenager won the Junior MX2 motocross world title in Heerde, Holland, and created another sensation in the world championship scene by finishing 7th at the GP of Lierop.
