About This Video
So I got fired from Massage Envy. It's not that I'm a bad massage therapist, mind you, but because I refused to lie to clients and tell them that they NEEDED to come back within two weeks for body work that their bodies "needed." Integrity got me fired. This is one of the best things that has happened to me because it motivated me to get out there and focus on my real business :) Here's the transcript:

D: Hey Robert, Thanks for coming in.
*blah blah
R: What it feels is like, you know all the problems you've been addressing? You know, the uh the--- missing headrests etc. I mean I think you're taking the right approach but at the same time it kind of caused some problems.
D: blah blah
R: I think it might just be the wording that's bad because you're kind of insinuating that you're taking a side. But I understand that you're just doing what you can to regulate, you know?
D: Explain it to me.
R: Kind of like the missing tips, you know how people were complaining about that? I mean I've never really had any problems with that but the way that you had the wording seemed like you were just taking the front desk associates' side. We don't know how much of it is false and how much of it is true. But it's kind of putting the therapists in a spot of *gurgle gurgle* and part of it is the economy.
D: blah blah blah exactly. I did not authorize that letter. *gurgle gurgle* I've had therapists say that the front desk is stealing their tips. So well yeah, there's been this negative vibe all across the back and I'm hearing more of it from the therapists than I am anywhere else.
