I met her through my favorite author (Carol Berg)'s yahoo group (which is also how I found out about NaNo in the first place) and we realized that we live near each other - she's in Fort Collins, that's why I started going to their write-ins, to hang out with her, and thus I met awesome people in Fort Collins.
