oops, my mistake, Clarke is still alive. Sorry!

*sporks everybody who teased you* they were just jealous that you were more awesome than they were ;-)

thanks so much for sharing! very inspirational. :-)

Oh, you just got a message from the Netherlands via Twitter (lol)

Just googled the man. When I say the he wrote a lot it's clearly an understatement.

he's one of the most important sci-fi writers of the century. Probably one of the top five: the others being Asimov, Clarke, Heinlein, and Wells.

i can't imagine how awesome it must have been to see him in person! I'm so jealous!

This is the best viddler video I've seen since the beginning of Nano this year!! I loved "Zen and the Art of Writing" by Bradbury. Wish I could've been there!

I've read snippets of that on Amazon.com, and it was AMAZING. Planning to buy the book soon.

Three cheers for Lingle! She wrote some of my favorite books when I was younger.

If you haven't read her Crosswicks journals, and Walking On Water, you must! They are some of the most inspiring things I've ever read; they were my introduction to sacramental thinking.

Black and white Twilight epis are the best. Could watch them endless times.

Last new year's, the scifi channel aired several days worth of them. So awesome!

Oh! I remember that one! The ending sicked me out, but I loved it. So creepy.

Very nice way of putting it, seeing as love is a commitment, not a feeling.

Exactly! I don't think I would be able to force myself to do something if that wasn't there. Not for this length of time, anyway.

Awesome video, Joi! *runs off to write (seriously)*

I don't recall reading either of those. I'll have to see if we have them around the house somewhere!

Oh I know! I loved it! They've been doing that every year for a while now, can't wait till this year. hehehe. I still love the one about the "ugly" woman. So good.
