Blacksburg Motor Company Grand Re-opening

On August 7, 2009, the Town of Blacksburg celebrated the grand re-opening of the Blacksburg Motor Company building. The building, built in 1924, was renovated according to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum standards, and will serve as Town offices and public meeting space. Montgomery & Giles Counties - from the NRVLiving Roof Cam

The other day I was out and about in the Merrimac and Prices Fork area, and decided to head out to Giles to see what the leaves were doing. They hadn't reached their full complement of colors yet, but it was a gorgeous day and I decided to take some video. The Roof Cam was born ... I headed out past Prices Fork to the New River, then followed the river into Giles a bit before hitting Eggleston and 460. Fall in the New River Valley is one of my favorite times of year - the colors and panoramas are just amazing. Sorry about the shaky video, but hope you'll enjoy the trip. Music is "Telling Dartman", by Trees on Fire.
