Whimsic Alley Adventure

Across the valley of stars, plastic, and tinsel I make way for the beach and a shop that caters to the Witch and Wizard community of Southern California. In Santa Monica, a few blocks past the beach, pier, and the promenade on Wilshire, lies a small shop that houses many delightful wares that are all related to Harry Potter books and movies. I went in hoping to take some quick snap shots, some videos, and maybe some small mementos. Let's just say that my original plan didn't hold up and that I have something now to last me for the last three Harry Potter flicks and many Halloween parties. While driving around Old Town Pasadena on some errands, I happen to go down Colorado Blvd. and catch a sight of the stands for the upcoming Rose Parade. Later, I go through my backpack which I hadn't touched since a week ago or so, when I went to San Francisco for YouTube Live.

After we walked around UCI, we went over to Fashion Island at Newport Beach and walked around. We cooled off with some nice gelato and left soon thereafter. On the drive, Erica recalls her first memory of me, which I don't think is right.

As we make past the Emerald City and the rest of the Biological Science buildings, we come up towards ICS Computer buildings. Before the video starts, Erica is telling me of how she wishes an old Family Matters episode were real where people could teleport between great distances. I happen to spy a crane called the "Snorkel" and I try to steal or mark something on campus to mark our trip.
