About This Video
With Amazon.com, social networking, and literary blogs, it's easy to forget about all the local ways a writer can promote their book. In this video interview from the New York Round Table Writers' Conference, GalleyCat talked with Stephanie Dickinson about her local approach to promoting "Half Girl"--taking her book to schools in Iowa.
She's not the only writer with a local focus. Authors Bob Burg and John David Mann took their motivational tome, "The Go-Giver," to school, coordinating with a teacher at Valapraiso, Indiana's Wheeler High School.
