1 year ago 0 + -maybe buy a really cheap one now for just a few hundred and then go and buy a really nice one in two years. Then if something happens to it in Ireland, it's not much of a lose.

1 year ago 0 + -A cheaper laptop these days will still be a really nice computer. If you buy a cheap new one that is. They'll still be dual core and 64 bit so it will be a fast computer.

1 year ago 0 + -If you do get one, get something good. Crappy laptops are the most frustrating thing ever. Whatever you do, get a buttload of RAM.

1 year ago 0 + -Used is very risky. Battery usually sucks, and no waranty. I got my Macbook from the Apple Refurbished store and so far it's just like a new mac, only 300 cheaper.
