Hey, I just thought I should finally comment on one of your videos, since I've watched most of them and they've really inspired me to keep going :]. Not just yours, but everyone else's too! I never really got around to posting any of my own, or actually commenting on very many, but... y'know... that would be procrastinating, and procrastinating is BAD!! Although if I were serious about not procrastinating, I wouldn't be watching vids at all. But as it is, I have, and seeing other people talk (and angst xD) about NaNo and share their word counts and experiences has really helped me to keep writing. I think next year I'll definitely post some vids of my own, and I'll be checking out Inkblots, 'cause it sounds cool. So... thanks for making these videos, and I'm sorry that I sound so lame! ^_^

I'm glad we could be so inspiring! You really should post some vids up in inkblots! Making these vids has been really fun (and addicting), but by far the best part is having people leave comments. It's really motivating to know that people are out there cheering you on.

I can't WAIT for the Book of the Month festivities!

Chicago by Sufjan Stevens (i got it off the little miss sunshine soundtrack ^_^)

Sufjan Stevens! You're my best friend's new best friend, heehee

I'm so proud of you for writing your whole novel on a typewriter!!!!!

I agree. I have my lovely typewriter, my lovely fountain pen, and my lovely laptop and my voice changes just a bit depending on what I'm using to write. I love them all though. :)

I'll definitely see you on InkBlots. I'll be on BookTalk too, and maybe MeToday. I can't believe it's over! But's nice to know that we'll all still see each other while we're waiting for NaNo '08! :)

You not just a MC in santjoi book but also here on this viddler-group and in the whole spirit of NaNo!

Seriously! Typerwriters rock! Thanks for making me want one! haha.

It's very different. Writing by hand, typewriting, computer writing, pen and ink, it all shapes the way we write.

All right, now I need to go find a typewriter.

You can get them surprizingly cheap from ebay or at local thrift stores. For some reason, i'd expect them to be expensive, but i've seen them go anywhere between, well, free (finding them on the side of the road :)) and, like $20. I'm sure there are move expensive ones out there, but most people seem intent on getting rid of them, for some reason I just can't understand ^_^
