About This Video
This video is
I decided to add a video segment to each week's social (media) question.
This week...
"Have you ever contemplated leaving people in Facebook purgatory whom you do not want to accept, but are too afraid to deny?"
Leave a comment here or at macdavidpro.com on the comments thread of the social question post.
I excited to see what people have to say!

7 months ago 0 + -Thanks, but sadly it's not original. I saw the phrase used on gizmodo.com and adapted it for this weeks question. ...nevertheless I'd love to take credit for it cause I was ROFL! seriously!

7 months ago +1 + -To answer the question. Yes, I have left people in FBP. Several times... usually people I don't know. But recently I've just turned my FB into a whore account and just add everyone, and just don't put anything private on it. I mean, private stuff shouldn't be on the net anyway, IMO.

7 months ago 0 + -Thank you so much for replying and your on hold video; Priceless. Kinda sorta similar, I randomly get an email today bout my birthday video saying that I violated some clicking solicitation rule on revver.com and I email them back (in a snappy way and paraphrasing), "hat click rule did I break." No response and like in past communications with them it will be days before any thing is fixed. Kinda put off by it. eh.
Anyway thanks again for the reply!

7 months ago +1 + -I've got a few that I haven't approved, but mostly because I have no idea who they are and they look a little sketchy. If I know someone, I usually approve them because I never put anything on Facebook that I wouldn't want my worst enemy to see. Same goes for Twitter... anyone can see it, so I keep things pretty generic.

7 months ago +1 + -I've only dropped one person since joining FB. The reason being is he continually kept spamming the timeline. If you're going to do that, create a fan page instead. Since then, I've been a little more critical as to who I add on there. If I don't know the person I more than likely will not approve them.

6 months ago +1 + -I've done this since day one of being on Facebook.
1. If I don't know the person, I'll just keep them there.
2. If the person doesn't write a message with the friend request, I'll just keep them there.
You don't approach people in real life and suddenly become friends without striking up a conversation...

6 months ago 0 + -I definitely agree with that. .... and on that note, that's partly why I started this little sq (social question) video series. I want to have real meaningful conversations with people through and about tech and social media--then hopefully good friendships will come. :) Oh and to add one more thing to what you said, I am not too crazy about having oodles of followers on Twitter. I'd be happy with a good 10 or 20 to be brutally honest.
