I need to start doing background checks in people's tea habits before accepting them as friends.

I do too when I use teabags, but I don't use them that often in the past month or so.

Now you've confused me. When you said you drink that stuff, I figured it was in a bottle, since you didn't seem like the kind of person who would tend to a pet fungus in a jar. But this I don't get -- how the heck can it be in a bag? Spores? I have trouble wrapping my head around the idea of drinking moldy tea in the first place, let alone dehydrated moldy tea. Weird.

Yeah I dunno. I think I picked it up on a whim the first time and then I loved the way it tasted. AND THEN I looked up what kombucha is and was like EWWWWWW. You can like order moldy jars on the intarweb and make your own. But I stick with the Americanized, pre-packaged, free-dried version.

I got so sick of buying those filters (not the replacement cartridges, but new filters when the old ones start to leak uncontrollably), I got myself a nice new under-sink filter and permanently attached it to the cold water line. I had quite an adventure in plumbling; too bad I didn't Viddler it.

I need to start drinking tea more often. The only time I drink it is when I go to a Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant.
