本片为台湾生命电视台出品，海涛法师任制片人， 由中国华藏光明-ALCOO数码制作的六集佛经 系列动画片，根椐 《地藏菩萨本愿经》提煉改编而成。主要敘述地藏 菩萨三个 前世故事，並介绍地狱状况与所罪恶的【五逆重罪 与无间地狱】、出生与死亡时獲得利益的【生死利益】，以 及【地藏菩萨见闻品】传授皈依礼拜供养地藏菩萨得到功德 利益的方 法。本片总长一百零三分鈡，制作周期长达两年半 ，由阿芒 和容榕任编剧、总导演，带领僅十数人的工作团队 克服种种困难，潜心耕耘完成。
