Factsheet Five Zine - Greenhouse Effect Songs "Coke Snorting" May 1990 Phil Keegan Guitar.
Clark Hagins and Guitarist Phil Keegan (Dr. Phil) look back at their early days as members of what has now become Cyberspace Internet Alternative Rock's Best and most watched and downloaded band world wide in 2007.
"In the early days of like 1989 and 90', We had important allys who helped to get our sound out there,..Great people like Factsheet Five Magazine" says Clark Hagins, Today 44 Years old and a Swimming Pool Cleaner in San Diego's North County. "Factsheet Five Magazine gave us reviews, they let us purchase key important advertising,...and best of all,..they were fair,..and somewhat, pretty much unbiased towards G.E., they let us be ourselves.. ,..they knew we were a buncha schmucks but they were objective to us anyway,..unlike Los Angeles's Bam Magazine ,..and some others who i won't name right now" says Hagins. Hagins, who is an unapologetic 'conservative' feels that his tight Christian upbringing and politics definitely played a role in the failure of G.E. back in their time while other more liberal bands thrived with major recording Label contracts and MTV exposure galore. "My parents and my family raised me to be a dick - lets be perfectly frank here" says Higgins ",..but I was also very shy, timid, kind and vulnerable,..I was very pure and honest and quite sincere,..it really came out in my lyrics,...but I remember,..if i ever spotted a Liberal person,..I became very rude and arrogant 'at' them,...I didn't mess around one bit,..I could spot a real phoney piece of shit ,..and I often 'always' let them have it,..there was a confrontation and a fight practically every where I ever went in the South Bay (Redondo Beach / Torrance Calif.),..but I guess 'that' is what makes G.E. so great and special today in 2009,....its why we got so big on the net and we get all those plays at Youtube n all,..WE ARE HONEST BLOKES - I stick up for Johnny Ramone and T
