About This Video
Jango Radio Songs Sound Great in Cyberspace. 1988's Precarious & "Number One" by Guitarist Phil Keegan and Greenhouse Effect. The swirling "Dorian" scaled Guitar line in this song is classic well known internet Lore ! While "Precarious" features heavy garage riffs - Phil Keegan wrote the very complicated Guitar parts and Clark Hagins , then aged 22, added the pounding Keith Moon style drums whilst Bassist Rick Carmody held the track together with Some of Los Angeles' Best Bass playing. G.e's first album "Global Warming" was immediately well received by a blown away music community where Greenhouse Effect found instant great reviews for their new bizarre and quite unique original sound. Flipside Magazine exclaimed "Wow,...who are these nuts ??" and from there, G.e. would go on to play Top Live shows and do 6 more albums before folding in November 1992 , unable to get a major recording contract in the 'grunge' era,...Today, the interesting music of G.E. Lives well on the Web. Just a three piece band always, the great odd lead singing of Clark Hagins always makes G.e. a downloaded net staple of 2009.
