If God is love then where did all the fear & guilt in religion come from? If you wanted to subvert the message of love what better way to show you'd done it than by making the most humiliating moment of the messenger of love the symbol for your religion. You could also give the head of that religion a J.C. on a stick to carry around - IT'S SOMEONE BEING TORTURED PEOPLE! How is that ANYTHING to do with peace & love? IT'S NOT!!!!
