About This Video
This was a project I did whilst studying music at university; it was to create a track using nothing but sampled music. I LOVED doing this & wish I had the equiptment to do more. I decided to upload this because I enjoyed doing it so much. I haven't played it to anyone in years and when I origianll let people here it they either really loved it or really hated it, as with most stuff I create.
When I made this piece I was rather heavily into The Beatles' "Sgt Pepper" album and all things psychedelic; I think it shows.
Samples featured include:
The Beatles "Paperback Writer", "A Day In The Life", "Revolution 9", (plus some stuff that I backwards looped so can't hear what it is);
Stevie Wonder "Superstition"
Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Titch "Save Me"
Queen "Bicycle Race", "Bohemian Rhapsody"
David Bowie "Andy Warhol"
Ravi Shanker "Raga Jogeshwari" ABBA "Super Trouper".
