We had a visitor Sunday afternoon.
We were out playing in the yard when the bear came walking out of the woods. I got all the kids on the porch before I showed them the bear. Then we spent 1/2 hour watching the bear check out the yard - from the safety of our deck.
We went up in the 2nd floor bedroom window to watch him for a while. He did go & play with the basketball. He got it between his paws, stood on his hind legs & played with the ball.
