ExitReality - Add YouTube Movies to Your 3D Space

Now with the new TV object that we have created, you can stream your favourite YouTube video directly into you 3D social network profile. Once you have entered your social network profile page, click on the ExitReality button on your browser to convert your 2D space into a 3D apartment. You will need the free ExitReality download in order to do this. Once you are in 3D, click on the search tab on the top right hand side of your screen. Enter the keywords 'youtube tv' into the search box and a TV will appear in the search results. Once you drag-and-drop the TV into your virtual apartment, you will be prompted to specify the URL of the YouTube video that you would like to stream. Simply copy and paste the URL into the text box and click done and your YouTube video will be added to the Plasma TV. To stop watching the video, click the 'close' button below on the screen. ExitReality - Chatting with other users in 3D

ExitReality is not only limited to a 3D web experience, it also includes a 3D chat platform that allows you to chat with anyone across the 3D web. 'Chat' is a feature that is integrated into the ExitReality user interface that allows you to communicate with other people that are in the same 3D webpage as you. When you convert a website into 3D, you will be able to see others that are currently at the same destination. Chatting in ExitReality allows you to meet other people with similar interests, strike up conversations, make contacts and travel across and meet other interesting people in 3D. You can arrange regular meetings with your friends to meet and chat on a webpage in 3D or strike up conversations with avatars that you meet along the way. The following video is an example of how the 3D chat function works within Exit Reality. In addition to talking to other users you can interact in other ways by right-clicking on another user's icon in the chat window, and selecting an option from the drop-down menu. Here are some instructions to get you started: - Select the 'Beam To' option to instantly teleport over to where that user is located in the 3D space. You can also double-click on a user's Icon to 'beam' to them. - Select the 'Whisper' option to send private messages to other people - Select the 'Send Chat Macro' option to 'wave', 'agree with', 'dislike' or 'smile' at another user. Having a 3D apartment as your Facebook, Myspace, or Bebo profile is a fun and innovative new way to express yourself online. Your own virtual world! Decorating your 3D apartment or any web page in 3D is as easy as drag and dropping objects you find from the Web 3D Search located in the ExitReality Dashboard. There are many different objects and themes that you can find to drop into your space. In order to customize your 3D web space, it is important to know how to edit a 3D object that you have selected from the Search Engine. When we mean edit, we refer to the simple tasks of moving, rotating, cloning and resizing a 3D object to suit your 3D webspace. ExitReality - Adding Your Photos in 3D

The Entire Web is now in 3D! With ExitReality, you can turn your Social Networking page such as MySpace into a 3D apartment! Download the free internet plug-in from www.ExitReality.com Once you have turned your MySpace page into a 3D apartment, it is time to customise it by adding different themes and objects. In this video, we will use a 3D picture frame object, and add some of our MySpace profile photos to them. In the video, we typed in picture frame into the web 3D search bar, but if you wish to quickly find the same picture frame that we were using, copy the following URL into the web 3D search bar: http://scr.exitreality.com/protos/PictureFrame.wrl When adding the picture frame, you will be prompted to include the address or ImageURL of your photo. To find the URL, Right click your photo on a website or MySpace page and select Properties. Select the Address of the image and paste it into the imageURL box in ExitReality. From there, you can move, rotate, scale and clone your 3D objects using the tools in the EDIT menu. When you have finished customising your page, click the save button, which is also located in the EDIT menu. If you have not already added a Launch in 3D button to your page, you will be prompted to do so. Now your changes have been saved, and all your friends can now see your photos in your 3D apartment!

Customize your 3D Webpage with ExitReality

ExitReality The Entire web is now in 3D, even your own website! And its absolutely free. Download the Internet plug-in today at www.ExitReality.com and convert your webpage to 3D. Now your webpage is in 3D, you can customize your 3D space with objects and themes from the ExitReality search engine, located in the Dashboard. Customizing your 3D website is easy! Simply choose a theme to change from the current environment to a desert, garden or rooftop. The choice is yours. You can also customize the sky as a radiant sunset or looming mountains. Lastly, add objects to your site. Interactive 3D objects such as the "Particle Snow" snow globe can be used to add falling snow to your virtual world. These can all be found in the ExitReality Search engine and easily drag-and-dropped into the 3D scene, no coding required. After you have customized your 3D website, open up the Edit menu and click save. You will be given a small html button to place on your site, to indicate you are the website owner. Once you have done that, your changes are saved and anyone visiting your site can view your newly customized 3D webspace by clicking on the html button.
