Everyone can always use more characters, right?
Make up a random person (even if you aren't going to use them) and make up as much background as you can.

Then think about little non-stories like 'character goes to the shops' and see how that works for them.
Oh... I just thought of something... fill in forms on the character's behalf. If you can express personality through a library application you've got something going on.

I put my itunes on shuffle and come up with something from the first few songs that pop up. :)

yeah i think maybe ever just a bus or train ride might help. Or just being around people cause you can usually catch things.

I write on.
I read.
I buy some different magazines and browse them.
I free brainstorm anything in my head.
I get outside.
I watch movies and tv shows.
I listen to music and make soundtracks.
I browse google and other places for pictures.

Which is why this november my main goal is to not take my time for granted since I have 24 hrs literally to my leisure
