1 year ago 0 + -whats the camera like. apart from the video? - obviously nothing compared to the d3 but for an amateur wanting to take good pics would you go for one? - the video would just be as an emergency backup for me because i still prefer my hv20 for video, just wish it was not tape.
Looking around atm for a new video camera. Might go to the next level on the video camera front and just go for a small compact camera. I did like the size of the d90 thou. Can you take some piccys with it matey - like side by side with the d3?

1 year ago 0 + -It's no comparison compared to the D3 but having owned the D300 I would say it was even better than that.
Loads of features you would never use, loads of flexibility in the controls. good low light capability and a compact size. As it doesn't have the metal body of the300 it is lighter and obviously cheaper. It is a great little stills camera.
