I think I just figured out why Snake seems so weirded out by Tatyana's advances--she looks kind of like a younger version of the Boss. that has to feel bizarre, to get the come-on from a woman who looks like your mentor whom you have to murder later.

Wow. I didn't really notice it until you pointed it out. She really is kind of the polar opposite of The Boss, too.

Before you guys write your love triangle fanfic, bear in mind it may have to do something with how the japanese model female characters.

Kojima just didn't want to make The Boss's hair pink like they do to make girls look different in your animes.

It's not like the enemy has helicopters or crazy one-man floating platform things. That's just silly!

Missed a good headbutt opportunity there, Snake

"Also perhaps the most empathic mission companion this side of Indorussia."

This is fucking great. Thanks for going through the efforts of editing that in.

Oh I'm sure Raikov could resist them pretty well.

That's an incredibly obscure reference EVA makes. "Cynthia" was a very successful female spy in the late 30s, IIRC. Real name should be Betty Pack.

And something tells me Ocelot ain't too interested either.

That was the greatest cutscene in MGS history. Oh god, wtf.

EVA said that all the scientists had today off. Sorry, maintenance crew - no labor unions in Russia.

It's actualy one big labor union with vodka breaks.

There was this thing Volgin likes to do with it where Ivan's in a dress and moulds it into a.... You know, I'll spare you the story.

Snake is one of those joggers who wear ridiculous jumpsuits that cause mental trauma to anyone unlucky enough to see them.

Snake can't eat and decipher woman-talk at the same time.

"Excellent. I could always use a good spotter for my sniping."

Or the fact that she was in the same room when you got it stabbed into your back, genious.
